Meh, I VERY rarely see this unless writing to a system directory. If I need to do this I launch explorer with admin credentials. Sadly it's the only way Windows users are going to get out of the "always an admin" mindset, and some programmers are struggling more than others with it. The handing down of security tokens should make it a non-issue if handled properly anyways (see su and sudo for reference)
And Amber - you should be fine, so long as they've come from a zip and not an .exe then they shouldn't be executable.
