Profession Mentors
« on: July 16, 2006, 04:45:48 PM »
At the last guild meeting we discussed Mentors for each Profession. After some thought, i composed these rules:
  • You must be level 250 skill level with that profession
  • You must be atleast rank Corporal in the guild.
  • You must be willing to work with others to make them stuff.
  • You must be willing to advise others in your profession.
  • You may not be two Mentors at once. (Alts count as the same person!)
  • You must be prepared to accept promotions or other praise for accepting a Mentor position.
These are the current positions available:

Alchemy Mentor -----> Treyath
Blacksmithing Mentor -----> Zzard
Leatherworking Mentor -----> Alandor
Clothcraft Mentor -----> ???
Mining Mentor -----> ???
Skinning Mentor -----> Splishy
Herbalism Mentor -----> Rafarr
First Aid Mentor -----> ???
Fishing Mentor -----> ???
Cooking Mentor -----> Altrurian
Enchanting Mentor -----> ???
Engineering -----> Roxor

  If I have missed out any let me know :/

  If needs be we ca divide them up (e.g. Tribal Leatherowrking, Elemental Leatherowrking) but for now let's see how this goes.

Skinning Mentor - buy knife, skin things!

I can cover First Aid or Cooking if needs be!
If Alandor wants a hand with any of the advanced leatherworking I'm doing Dragoncscale.

 Alt I put you on cooking because I know that not many people take that super far. Splishy is on skinning, I expect maybe Hiki can do Herbs.

i'm thinking about taking Tribal for leatherworking, from what i hear that's best for Druids and i've heard it frequent so i'll go for it.

I'm in your forum, trolling your threads...

Uther quit, Arthas re-rolled and the Order of the Silver Hand disbanded...but you still want to be a paladin?

Thinking on it you should really have backup mentors for when the nominated primary mentor is not online. Not much good having a mentor for something if you can only get hold of them if and when your game-time happens to concur.

Under such a proposition I can offer my 300-ised services for Alchemy, Fishing, Herbalism, Cooking, First Aid, Skinning and I may even have one of my chars up there on Mining iirc.
