Romanus Eunt Domus: Back on track
« on: December 10, 2007, 09:24:33 AM »
With the addition of Kyon and Arekh over the last week we're back on track with the 5v5, membership was getting a little too low but should be easier to start on time now.

As this is the second week of season 3 things should be at least a little less painful, as we know the lower our rating goes the more fun it gets.  Unless anyone objects I'd like to stick with Tuesday 9GT as the set time for the main session with anyone not able to attend being free to get their matches in at another time but they will need to organise the bodies themselves.

See you in the arena

Is there a space in the arena team? I'd quite like to get Thane back in there.

40g to the guild bank and give me a yell next time we're both online.  That's the team full again I believe.

Will do.

Last night was (for us) a stunning success!  Due to a slight cockup on my part we ended up doing 11 games rather than 10 but the final score was 6-5 to us.  Our rating actually went up \o/

Great stuff, here's hoping next week will bring more of the same

Damned, it was fun! And even when we keep in mind that we surely didn´t meet the strongest teams in our bracket - we had a couple of decent tactical appendages, focusing fire, meeting with Daffyd at the bottom of the bridge for some healing thrown in, trying to communicate. We should keep working on this - I´m sure we haven´t reached the top of what we can achieve yet.

Go, go, go!

EDIT: I haven´t paid anything to contribute to the team yet, Daff - so that´s 40 gold? Will make sure to do so tonight, wouldn´t want to see my fingers broken one by one by a debt collecting druid.

I'm hoping that the new rules will mean less team selling this season meaning less people who should be at much higher ratings playing in our bit of the ladder.  We certainly got lucky on some of the teams we faced but it would be nice if every week went like that

I really liked the tranquility then jump down one, that worked really really well and could be one to use again in the future.  Gives you 10 seconds to burn someone down without worrying about LoS or anything like that and then jump down to continue the fight amongst the pillars.  5v4 is a hell of a lot easier than 5v5

Aye, or give it to Splishy if you see him first.  The reason behind it is the first 5 members cover the cost of the team so it's only fair anyone else contributes the same (except that I have that donated to the guild bank).

One thing I will say is if you don't have it get Proximo, we're getting better and that can only help us improve even more.  Better focus fire for one thing

It was indeed a great ride, gearing ourselves up with resilience and +sta +class specced stats is doing us good (especially my rogue with the hammerpouncing nightmares )

Each time we do the 10 a week i get the notion we keep improving, like said it's a matter of building up experience what to do at certain points and creating a synergy amongst ourselves. It's the key thing that if everyone knows what each of us is capeable of that we'll be one mean lean steamrolling machine :]

That's strange, you should have played at least 4?

I only played 3 I think  and I joined on the 8th one I beleive, even doing 3 we did 11 games, just under 30%.
