What works

Based on last night a couple of things that spring to mind...

Sap is suicide.  Half the games we won were because rogues tried to sap us and ended up getting ganked instead while the rest of their team was halfway across the arena giving us an immediate 5-4 advantage.  Rogues seem most effective when they join in after everyone else has already engaged.

The first 10-20 seconds of the match decide everything.  Don't save cooldowns, blow them all and when the dust settles hope we're ahead.  Tranquility is useful for getting through the initial mental seconds intact.

Anyone got any others?

Quick decisions on who's the main target or we're pulp when they rush. Focused fire won our battles methinks.

I kept an eye out for you but didn't see you all night. Arena is always the same time, 21:00GT on Tuesdays unless it says otherwise in this here forum (never happened yet).

yup, i experience that rogues are very effective for 2 main things in arena; firstly to wait till the battle really starts and then take actions.

Also the target i aim for is not essentialy the focussed target, more so i try to occupy the healers of the opposition so they cant get a single heal of for about 10 seconds.

Killing resto shammies is really a time waste as we noticed in the previous matches. But stunlocking him while the rest of the team goes for the squishies seems the way it works best for us. Especially considering we don't have the easy mode MS warrior.

Though the 30/31 setup is really the only viable build to have enormous burst damage, a rogue shines in trying to control opponents to take'm out of the battle for a considering amount of time. Blinding, sapping a incomming rogue (human perception is a bitch ) stunlocking/vanish/repeat stunlock is really good to get a clothie down in no time.

Also i heard that in nagrand MC-ing a healer is devastating for the opposition because of no heals incomming for them

All depends on the setup we face and how their style of playing is. Which makes it so much more intresting vs scripted bosses which become boring after they get farm status

just a dump of my toughts for now
