New thread specifically for this run as the other one is a sticky now.  Signups looking good, 20 so far including enough healers and tanks to be confident of a run.  The pyromaniac and the crazy guy are covered but a warlock would be a very nice addition at this point if we can get one.

Not sure about the balance between FL and SoG members, but currently it's sitting at 7:15. I've no problem with this, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Not received any info to create forum accounts for the FL guys as yet either.

If the Fuzzies come up with the numbers/roles it'll be a 15/10 split as usual, if they don't then I'll fill the raid as needed.  As usual I want a final group posted the day before (i.e. tomorrow) so I'll prod the FL officers to prod their members tonight.

Apparently they have put the details up on their forum but I'm spreading the word on the joint chat and with people I know usually go.

In the event that we get too many healers signed up (we're currently a few over our required 3 from SoG!) I'll be happy to step aside for Theakston/Uf/Shamdalie/whoever needs it more. I'd still love to go, but I don't want to be greedy!

I'll keep an eye out for the list going up tomorrow.

Ok, Amberley extremely kindly volunteered to be the one not to go, the other 25 rather conveniently fill the slots we need filling.

Tank: Morahdenn, Wryn, Falkore, Skul, Zerl
Healer: Hehehe, Splishy, Theakston, Faphnir, Uf, Daffyd
DPS: Kaera, Altrurian, Eleshar, Erzyl, Jozef, Aghnim, Briony, Howzat, Kyon, Harnomy, Rafaar, Shamattie, Jalie, Nimbus

We have 2 locks for the puppies, we have experienced mage tanks, and we have experienced hunters for the crazy guy, what could possibly go wrong?

Please be on time with flasks (the cheap unstable ones are best) and other consumables, you know the drill let's make it a smooth run.

Looking forward to seeing WWS: I captured an amount through Recount, but the new combat log should prove interesting reading.

Hokay, the post match report...

Fair amount of wiping (partly my fault, won't happen again) on HKM but the final one has pretty smooth.  You can see the stats here, some incredible performances and some not so much.  Gruul was a good try on the first, went down on the second.  WWS parse for Gruul is here and Aghnim just does SICK damage!  Rogues died early on again, without Omen working properly you really have to take more care of threat at the start of fights especially when being in the wrong place on the threat table means instant death.

Take a look at how you did, see if you can work out how to do it better on the next run.  I'm sure we can make it smoother next time.  Thanks again to everyone for coming and I'm glad it was a succesful run, not that I was nervous at all...

Ugh, faffing around with felpups means I take a dps hit for HKM. I could've increased my dps on Gruul by using shadowburn but I have to be in close to use it which gets me into range/threat problem territory. Other than that I'm fairly happy with the output delivered for gear equipped.

I would also like to apologise for the very first wipe on HKM, that may well have been my fault entirely for actually setting the enslaved felpup on the priest instead of the summoner. It was only after the priest went down that my brain registered I needed to go sit on the naughty step for a while

And so, enough gesticulating and muttering about my own 'performance', a job well done in the end. It gave us a run for our money and some more members got more geared up so hats off to all that did the deed.

Disappointed in my HKM healing frankly, but as I spent most of the fight spamming one target (and then another when Chaa bought the farm, which I think may have been down to a spellsteal resist but we won't talk about that) I guess it's always going to be the case. During Gruul I was overhealing like a biatch (in fact, I pretty much always do but so long as I'm not OOM or dragging aggro it's not on the top of my priority list)

End result: we won, Gruul and HKM didn't. A good result all round in my eyes. And I guess Aghnim proves that frost mages *can* DPS at a decent level!

Was wondering about my HKM results then remebered I was in tank gear and spent a chunk of the fight either running away feared or running after the 'lock when he'd feared... Gruul looked better given I wasn't near the bugger half the time (well, 28%...) as he kept sticking rocks on my head

I am a bit surprised to see myself so high on the dps list.    I used aspect of the viper (mana regen) in both fight instead of aspect of the hawk (155 RAP) because blizzard screwed up my mana regen with the last patch.
