ok, I'm on call until 11pm next week sooooo....

Do you want me to take part at the risk that I may get a call and have to take 5 minutes out to reset some passwords, or would you prefer I sit it out? I don't mind either way, but I know what a frustration it can be when there's 4 people waiting on one person's return.

Well there *is* that. I just wanted to make sure you were all aware that at any point I may have to use the "I need to make a phone call, back in 5 mins" clause after a match. I'm literally only on call to take care of password resets and account unlocks, so it should never take more than that (fire up a virtual machine, VPN to the office, do the necessary, job done).

another ropey start, the 2 paladin team is starting to come into it's own now (especially against the 3 paladin, 2 druid team!), hopefully in a couple of weeks we can start rising through the ranks a little so we can afford some s3 when s4 goes live

Hmm... we're becoming pr etty good at the ropey starts, aren't we?

from a poor start we finished yesterday having won 6, lost 4. I also believe that the team is now at it's highest ranking (EVAR!) - let's see if we can move up a little further next week

On the plus side, S4 is expected in the next few weeks (if you believe WoWInsider et al), so I might have something to spend arena points on again soon

Hokay, work commitments mean I'm unlikely to be able to make Arena this evening - really sorry to let you down but I have a major server consolidation and virtualisation exercise going on

I'll do my best to make it, but it's probably best to plan for me to not be there.

heh - it's good experience, but the current part is mostly donkey work unfortunately as the design has already been done. Plan is to move to a fully virtualised desktop environment by the end of the year, but I need to make the case for a bigger MPLS, as 8/8 just ain't going to cut it with that amount of WAN traffic AND the VOIP link.

Anyhoo, I digress: will update later this evening (ie before arena) if I'm likely to be able to make it.
