Yep, got them all - we now have 3 and a bit months in the kitty. The reference to 12-48 hours is the time it takes to show up on our Vent page, but currently we're $63.16 USD in credit.

Just done the maths and it seems that we're $0.70 away from having 4 months at the current package, which gives us 50 slots. I don't think I've ever seen 50 slots in use, and was wondering what people felt about looking to move to either the 25 or 32 slot packages ($9.75 and $12.48 a month respectively) in order to stretch the funds a little, even if only short term?

That said... for the purposes of the summer at least we could probably safely look at going down to a 15 slot server, which knocks the cost down by a little over $10 USD/month.

I've never seen more then 12 ppl in vent (10 in a raid + 2 occacional in some other channel). I think 15 will be more then enough and most ppl that i know use other programs (xfire, skype, teamspeak) to communicate outside raids (hell, i don't even dare to use vent outside raids / arena)

so yea, lower it. As long as we don't suddenly get double the raid team (although a few more would be nice) i don't see us needing any more then 15

Aye, screw it: I've raised a ticket for the server to downgrade to a 15 slot server. If we find in future that we need more then I can soon get it upgraded again.

The good news is that this means that we're now essentially set for 10 months of Vent, rather than 4

It's been a while, but... we're down to just over a month in the kitty - if you have a few bob spare (I know, harsh economic times and all that) please consider making a donation to the Ventrilo kitty.

Also... are people still using it? If not then there's little point in keeping it on. I'm assuming it's still being used for raiding etc? I'd imagine that in a few months it'll  be under reasonably heavy use when SWTOR is launched.

If those that are using the server could drop me a line to let me know how many slots we're normally using I'll look into possibly getting it resized to save money.

We are still using it, for raids / arena's / fun stuff. I guess 15 slots would suffice.

Cheers Dar - we currently have 15 slots, so it makes sense to leave it at that. At $5.85 USD/month we're now set for almost the next 6 invoices (next one is due in around a fortnight, so that's 5 and a half months). I'll throw a few quid in the kitty when I next get paid again.

Added a couple of months to the Vent kitty as I had a fairly prosperous December.
