Well... based on the names I've seen (excluding Pielbeer as per above) I see we have

Elendor
Zzarde
Potatoe
Fortuna
Amberley

The team must participate in a minimum of 10 matches, each person must take part in 30% of those.

i had a good time through it so far, i did notice that each match did get slightly easier and we lasted a little longer if by seconds per match so given a couple of weeks we should see some progress it it's lasting out longer than a couple of minutes to even taking down one of their team mates or perhaps their team  i'm looking forward to our next match.

We went through this for quite some time too, once you get the gear and some practice playing together it starts to get better.  Once you reach the level where you win as many as you lose it becomes quite a lot of fun.

When you first start out in arena though, oh boy do you learn just how fast you can die.

Yeah, 'twas a steep learning curve. Sorry for disappearing so quickly after my matches, but I had stuff that I had to do IRL.

On the strategy side of things it's clear that PVP tanking isn't possible - just about every team will go for the person who does most damage first, then the healer. As a frost mage I can iceblock twice (3 times if the match goes on long enough) so I *should* be doing better than I did yesterday, however I need to stay close to Amberley if she's in the group as the pushbacks from damage taken are killing me even with my haste gems. Amberley is likely to be of most use in ensuring that buffs are kept up, and a little offhealing too.

That said, I threw on what little resilience gear I have and it's clearly not good enough - next week I'll try playing in my normal PVE gear as damage and crit is a lot higher.

For the majority of the matches i found if i weren't stealthed waiting for someone to heal i'd be the first one down per match, but i learnt something from that at least
using a Areana Point Calculator i've managed to plot it would take at least 4 weeks to be able to afford the gloves at our current rate. i'm just wondering after each match you lose do you always lose 14-17 points or as you get further down the ladder do you loose less points?

You lose/gain rating based on the difference between your team's rating and the team you compete against, so if you beat a team that's way below you you only gain a few points and if you get beaten by a team that's way above you only a few points are lost.

Sheeping was... interesting. In 3V3 I've discovered I can't use the "start invisible" trick doesn't work if you're the one calling out the targets, as you can't see them either... As such the best bet is likely for me to not do that and hope for a non-druid healer (as druids are immune to polymorph in forms) so I can sheep them twice (after they pop their trinket) and then aim for a counterspell on another caster. Clearly this doesn't work with 2 rogues...

Ok so basically what we need to conentrate on is at one target becuse when ?I was playing we all just like target someone.
So learn to target one man at a time.
Get the highest dps out.
And then for th rest just get more experienced with this and get used to how to play in arena?

That's the one - nuke their highest DPS. Also be aware that you can use Proximo to target any visible target (you can setup clicks and keybinds to cast a particular spell, so I need to set a button or keybind to polymorph really).

Also - warlock pets: paladins can fear them. They eat your buffs, and make life hell for any caster, so if they can be crowd controlled in any way then please do.

any damage i that i took really impared my healing ability, i was only able to HoT with rej, for some reason Healbot won't let me bind Lifebloom to it which is a P,I,T,A. trying to pull off regrowth even though it's talented to reduce interruptions still getting interrupted. and the only massive heal with instant HT not doing enough of a heal i definately need a higher +Healing. and to search out some interesting PvP trinkets that might help me out.

Yuo desperately need to fix that, it's your only really viable PvP heal.  Regrowth has a long cast time and rejuve is too easily removed.  At least if lifebloom is purged you get the end bloom.

You can't talent to reduce interruptions, you talent to reduce pushback.  Different mechanic.  Interrupts will ALWAYS interrupt unless you dodge or resist them, normally lifebloom, rejuve, and swiftmend will be your tools with regrowth if you can.
