Guild Information
- Seeds of Glory and a friendly guild with many active members of all level ranges. A close watch is kept on every member; all good deeds will be rewarded and all bad will be punished.
Guild Ranks
How to progress through the ranks
- Take part in instances and other guild events.
- Help others if you have the time.
- Talk lots! Many members stay at the same rank for extensive duration for not talking in guild chat.
- Being loyal and trustworthy (especially to your superiors!)
- Being nice and, if you need to swear, not using it offensively.
- Avoid nagging or spam (unless you aim to beat the running record for 'Fastest Guild Ejection'...currently it's 26 seconds)
- Be yourself! You will not be demoted or flamed for going against anyone elses opinion (even the leader's) but please be wary of falling into the 'offense or harassment' category. If you have something to say, try not to be criticisive.
The ranks and their powers (in descending order)
Officer Ranks
These ranks are the higher members of the guild, with the most power.
~ Commander: Can do and see everything. Really .
~ Lieutenant: The Commander's left hands. Can do and see all except modify the guild's information.
~ Marshal: The most seasoned members. Have the same powers as Lieutenants but not the same status!
~ Knight: Officers of the guild. Have strong power within the guild, but must go to their superior's if they wish to edit member's Offcier Notes, set the guild's Message of the Day or remove a member entirely from the guild.
Regular Ranks
These members have lesser powers but can be promoted faster.
~ Seargant: The most powerful of the Regular Ranks. They can do all a Knight can do except Promote members, speak in /officer chat and demote members through the ranks.
~ Corporal: The well-proven members; they haave moderate powers, being able to invite members and edit public notes of other members but have no access to /officer chat.
~ Private: Members who are beyond induction and are becoming proper members of the guild! They can now invite members to the guild.
~ Recruit: New members to the guild will be placed in this rank. They have no power but have only a day of membership or plenty of guild talking to be promoted into Private.
Alt Ranks
These are the alternate characters of other members in the guild. (Must be marked in public note with '/nameofmaincharacter')
~ Ambassador: These members have main characters with a rank of Seargant or above, and can invite members on these characters aswell.
~ Lesser Private: Alt of characters with rank of Corporal or below, they have no power on these characters.
Guild Rules
ALL members apply to these rules:
+ Please do not expect help to be offered without a request, everyone has just as much to do in the game as you!
+ Be considerate to other members; if someone does not want to help you or can't, please avoid spam.
+ Harassment of any other member will not be tolerated in any circumstances.
+ Do not think of the leader as a big fat meanie for setting such strict
rules.
+ 25 days unnotified inactivity will result in redundancy from the guild if of a 'Regular Rank' and demotion for 'Officer Ranks'
+ All alt characters MUST be marked in public note with '/maincharacter'sname'. For example, see Ambassador Treyath: /Fleyon.
+ Guild loans and other member-to-member problems that do not directly link to the guild or any guild event may be brought up with Officer ranks but it is entirely up to them what becomes of that member. Furthermore it is not in the Commander's power to effectively punish a member who abuses the World of Warcraft policies, and these issues should be consulted with a Game Master.
+ Any reports of gold begging, ninja looting or abuse of other players inside or outside of the guild will be thoroughly investigated. Any persons found guilty will be dealt with as seen fit by the Guild Master - this may involve a formal warning or (in some cases) expulsion from the guild. All these things make the guild look bad, so please don't do it.
