I always loved the WoW design but this is just... stunning. Breathtaking place.

Booorring :D

Seriously though, purely on a design level it looks better than any dungeon I have seen.  Whether or not it will rock as hard as it looks remains to be seen.  Hopefully it won't be annoying as hell, some instances look great but are in fact unpleasant to be in - particularly nature themed ones.

What level of gear would I need to come along to this place?  I assume it's not entry-level raiding but are we talking full T7?

I'm just guessing here but i suppose you need atleast near full T7 or equivalant epics. Its not too hard to get those (either by money or by heroic farming) so i guess blizz takes that as a start for 10 man, 25 man will require 7,5 i guess.

Correct me if you know better!

Initial gear level is going to be expected to be all or almost all ilevel 200 PvE epics, fortunately that's not too hard to get.  You can do it pretty much However unless you're planning on joining the progressive raiding (presumably not) there's more latitude as by the time we can take non progressive raiders the rest will have enough gear to compensate a bit.

My guess (and it's probably as valid as anyone else's guess at the moment) is that you'll be looking at 80% epics, 20% ilevel 200 rares to make any impact on the place from the get go. It's going to be challenging.

That said, there's a number of craftable and purchasable epics out there, and we're getting better at Naxx every time (it's not like Kara where we hit a cockblock who held us up for weeks - we've fully cleared the place and I fully expect to be able to do so in quicker time (though the time on the last clear was pretty awesome), so a couple of runs through there will help gear most people up (if only because it's an easy source of a good number of Emblems of Heroism.)

I'm still hopeful that the resets for VoA and OS will be brought down as well - it's all well and good having it so that you can PUG the place but if you're only able to run each once a week in each mode it's a pain.

Although I thoroughly enjoy them, I doubt I'll have the option of joining the progressive raids, due to a.) I have a crap-load of catching up to do - making level 80 for a start (hopefully by the middle of next week, hit 77 last night) and b.) I don't know as though I could keep up if I did catch you guys up.  My main aim is Naxx.  Have always wanted to see the place and my plan is to get my crafted epic pieces done and hit some heroics to get geared to a passable standard that could be considered for that raid.  Obviously I'm not going to be up to scratch for the progressive stuff but if I can get on some other raids it'll be grand.  All really depends on luck of rolls and the times the runs are planned as to whether I'll be going to Ulduar :)

Looked at the dps for some of your recent raids, feels like a million miles from where I am now :D

You'd be amazed at how quickly your DPS ramps up when you start pulling the gear in. I was struggling to break 1k on non-aoe pulls prior to heroics...
