Is a resto shaman usefull?

I've been thinking about this for some time now but I still have a shammy by the name of Shamanix gathering dust on my account. He's with a raiding guild atm but due to bad raiding times and my current job he isn't allowed to raid anymore. I was wondering if he could be better used in the seeds.

hell yes! ^^ we don't have any real raiding shammies, 2 of the "geared" shammies are alts of reglar raiders that are needed on their more geared char, so we do most kills withou heroism or totems.

Well my resto shammy made the transfer. Been checking stats on the internet and he should be able to at least back up heal ICC 10 mans although i'll need to get back into the healing buisness before I do. Hope to get some training with him in some of the daily's. Have no clue wheter I could improve him with easier to get items though

The gear will certainly see you into the first wing of ICC, but there's a bunch of potential upgrades for you in ToC25, so sign for the Sunday evening runs if you can.

I think Jozef can help you really good if you have questions // problems with your shammie, seeing that you geared him up already makes me believe you know your class pretty well, but meh, i though i'd just point to the only other resto shaman in our guild

I'll be signing up on toc 25 with him just can't seem to find where to submit only seeing the ICC25 runs for some reason

That would be because this Sunday appears to be another ICC25 run - no harm in signing up, I guess
