The easy life of hunters ^^

Hey all, i just installed and tested a few addons and i must say, i like that and they make the already easy life of hunters even easier:

Watcher

Makes a timebar on wich your specified cooldowns are going to run down, on the left side you will have a stack of spells available to do now. I tweaked it around (alpha, no background) but you can really adjust this to your playstyle. (priority per spell and such)

FloAspectBar

Makes a aura/stance-like bar for our aspects, i like it!
------------------------
That besides my usual addons (Icehud, Mikks Scrolling Combat text, boss addons and the likes) makes it really hard not to do major dps with a hunter ^^

You guys have any other addons you advise?

There's an addon called "autotrack" out there that basically switches your tracking to whatever you're targetting so you always get the benefit from the tier 1 survival talent.

Hmm yes i think i have such an addon as i realised after yesterdays raid that i failed tracking again, will have to check tomorrow though to be sure

For any caster, I'd recommend Coolline to track CDs - it's compact and doesn't break^^

For hunters, Autotrack is not smart - it can throw in a delay when you really don't want it, and the way Improved tracking works now, you'll be getting your damage bonus unless you start tracking Hidden targets.

Top of the list of addons I could not exist without would have to be Opie - you, too, can have 50 spells bound to 5 buttons, should you so want^^

I tried opie today, impressive but i'll always be faster with my current configuration. Still i wanted to give it a chance in combat (although i know its not its primary use) and it dropped me about 500 dps. Will still have it so i might sometimes remember to use it

Using Opie as primary combat controls is just silly - it's real joy becomes using it to contro things like tracking, Aspects and traps - your main casts, you stick on hotkeys, but with each Opie ring, you can set one spell to activate on "tap".  To change tracking modes, I press T and then move my mouse to the right spell - to apply hunters mark, I just tap T.

This allows you to have some of the more obscure hunter spells to hand without searching for them.

And if your config can beat mine on DPS, I'd be very impressed^^
