« on: March 13, 2010, 12:23:43 AM »
Real name : Tamas Dorog
Age : 20

Character's name/class/race/lvl : Bigdeal / hunter / 80 / NE /
What do you expect from SoG : Only to raid 3-4 days a week , maybe bit less some weeks ,
Your professions and skillpoints (link to build if at all possible) : dont have  this char started as twink , then i just lvld it ^^
how did you hear from us ? ive heard ppl say its a good mature guild , with nice progress
What is your recent guild history and if leaving a guild the reason for the move?  gods frozen army is a joke, i mean no riads no nothing , and in deathwish officers are kids who get pissed to fast, + no progress not friendly (*
what can you offer the guild, and why should we admit you?  i can offer my active gamestyle, my skills, experince from lvl 60 raids +70 not on this chat though, and kindness^^

Hi sorry for the delay, i started reading the post this morning then promptly got side tracked.

Thank you for your application.  Please spend a little time having a look at the forum and check out the guild rules here http://www.seedsofglory.net/smf/index.php?topic=2160.msg20347#msg20347.

We also have a compulsory 2 week trial period to give you chance to get to know us and vice versa.  We schedule raids via the Raid Planner attached to this form so if you have trouble setting that up please post on the forum and I will bump the instructions thread floating around on here.  The trial period doesn't have restrictions attached, you're welcome to sign up to anything on the planner and please feel free to offer/instigate heroic groups through guild chat, although a number of members tend to PUG those.

We do have a guild vault and I'm sure somewhere in the I Need section of the forum there are rules about that (if not let me know and I'll make some up)

We try to be a friendly helpful guild with a welcoming atmosphere so if you wish to join us please whisper a member in game for an invite.

As far as raiding is concerned we have a 2 week schedule - one week the raid days are thursday evening and monday the following week then the next saturday (week nights is 2 hours, Saturdays 4)  We have slightly more people than the 10 man requires but it is understood that if you have to be dropped from a raid due to numbers then your next signup is guarenteed.  The progression raids are not first come first served (currently ICC 10 man) but I believe there are raid rules attached to the instance section of the forum.

Whisper an officer for an invite and see how you get along.

Hey tamas,

First of all thanks for applying to our guild.
Our guildmaster, amberley, has summed up the most you need to know when applying to our guild, but as you seem to put weight into raiding I, as one of the raidleaders, couldn't resist to make some sidenotes.

First of all, we are a casual guild, in everyting we do, including raiding. There is no-one in the guild that is forced to raid, and if we lack signups we will not raid that night. You raid when you want / can, not when we want you to.

Second, in your application you say that you want to raid 3-4 nights a week and some weeks less.
Just to be clear, we raid once (4 hours on saturdays) or twice (4 hours split over thursday and monday) a week. Thats it. We might go into ulduar for some fun and hardmodes or do a weekly once in a while but our progression is limited to 4 hours a week.

As you seem to put alot of weight into raiding i ask you kindly to reconsider if our way of raiding and our number of hours put into raiding fit your expectations of the guild.
