Hey.

I was recently in a random heroic dungeon with a member of your guild who is named in the thread. A certain Night Elf Warrior called Selferas.

There was a shaman in the group who was a fresh level 80 and so may have needed on certain cloth/leather spell power gear. Being a shaman he cant need on that sort of gear and politely asked if we call roll pass on it so he could pick it up. No problem.

Now also in the group was a level 80 priest who also happens to be my girlfriend. She is relatively new to WoW (and gaming in general) and she didn't quite understand exactly how the new roll system worked. I was busy explaining it to her when she stated in party chat by mistake that she didn't quite understand (supposed to be a whisper to myself).

In response to this, Selferas said "god you are stubid then". Which was a little uncalled for, but none the less. He continued.
He did try and explain it further but my girlfriend thought it was a little too far to insult her in the first place and chose to disband (knowing that as a DPS she is easy to replace)

After I called up Selferas for being rude he then said "shes a bitch if she leaves for that" again, definitely uncalled for.

Those 2 things weren't really the worst thing though. What really got to me was his next line.

"fucking cunt ass bitch whines, do i look like i care".




Now the previous things were uncalled for, but that was just down right malicious and not something i'm going to take lightly. I know this rant seems pretty pointless to you, but your guild rules state first and foremost

"#1 - don't be an ass - remember that everything you do in game is reflected on the guild."

I would definitely say this is a poor reflection on your guild, even if it is only the one player and is something I thought I would bring to your officers attention. If thats the sort of player you chose to hold in your ranks then you might want to think again about your guild rules in general, because rule number 1 is being broken right of the bat.

This is going to get flamed, never mind.

Hey Gutrek,

First off, thanks alot from bringing this to our attention, and we (officers and core members of this guild) strongly regret that you had to meet our guild like this. My sincere apologies go out to you and your girlfriend, as from what i've read in your text, there was no reason at all for selferas to fall out like that.

Now, our first rule is very important to us, that does not mean that every member has to be an angel all the time, but politeness is easy to maintain, even while pissed off. The behavior shown by selferas is unaccaptable and indeed breaks the first rule, the ground rule, of this guild. I will talk about this with the officers and the guildleader, as well with selferas, and i assure you that his place in this guild is very unsure on this moment.

We take such matters very serious. We are known as a friendly casual raiding guild on our realm, and we like to keep this reputation like that, not only on our realm, but in the complete battleground. Reports like this help us keeping this up.

Again, i'm very sorry that this occured. If i could, i would have send your girlfriend flowers ingame, but i think that our sinsere apologies will mean as much as flowers.

Have fun in game, both of you, and i hope you will meet on of our guildies soon on a nicer way then you did recently

It isn't often we get this kind of post and I for one am very pleased that you felt you could post it.  As mentioned above our actions are fair and have been done, any alts will follow this evening unless Dar trawls through the guild:)

Hey, thank you for all being so mature about the situation.

I wasn't sure how the responses would go in regard to the post but I can see that this is merely a minor blip with in the ranks of your guild, and in no way a true reflection of your guild as a whole.

After a quick scan through your website I could see that you run a tight ship and thought that behaviour of this manner wasn't something that your officers would condone so that is why I brought it to your attention.

Removing Selferas from the guild was completely your decision and I hope my post in no way pressured you to make that choice. If you felt the need to remove him then thats fine.

Both myself and my girlfriend send our thanks and gratitude for treating this matter as fairly and maturely as you all have, we look forward to meeting you in the future, happy raiding!

If you want a pretty one, go to the mmo-champion forum (clicky) and look trough the last 5 pages, see if you like any of the artists there and PM them with the info needed and how you think it would look.
I really like Khatsoo's work so i pm'ed him, and he turns out to be a really nice guy that jumped onto my idea immediatly.

I highlighted the important stuff, go to that forum, look if you see an artist you like, PM him to get the fastest result, make sure you follow the form they want (char, realm, armory link, how do you want it to look) and make an interesting suggestion that gets their attention You'll have a pretty one within a week!

Really nice getting something like this after coming from my trip. Haven't played from thurs to sunday, then i log-in to notice I'm guidless, asking Daff what's wrong, then he tells me this link. I'm surprised i see something like this, There's two people who know my account pass and do play it sometimes. but they're mostly just staying quiet and playing. But can't help it.
