Celestial Steed and Lil'XT to be sold in the Blizzard Store
According to the Blizzard store, the Lil' XT companion pet and the Celestial Steed mounts will be available from the Blizzard Store! This is the first time Blizzard sells a mount through the Blizzard store, we don't have the price yet but we can assume we'll hear about it very soon.

The Celestial Steed seems to scale depending on your existing mounts. If you already have a 310% flying mount, the celestial steed will be a 310% as well. If you don't, it will just be a regular 280% flying mount. (or 150% if you never bought the epic flying skill)

makes me think... i need to get a 310% mount somewhere... i don't want to be stuck at 280% on such an awesome mount

well the point is that Tripl is my char that does seasonal stuff, and he won't get that mount untill thanksgiving (i started one day late, missing one achieve)... while i hope that this mount will be BoA, if its not then it will be going to my huntard, being that tripl has 2 cool mounts (achievement proto + the outland shiny egg-collectors drake (you know which i mean)) while touriq has... well a 150% mount from when i dinged 61

Lol that video sums up my sentiments.  Shouldn't pay £17 for a mount when a free one in the game does the same thing, no matter how cool it might look.  Personally I think there are better in-game mounts, but each to his own.

I'm glad someone else has said it. A small part of me withered and died when I saw people actually paying nigh on the price of a full game/expansion just for what amounts to a re-skin for an in-game mount....that doesn't even do anything.

Each to their own and it's not coming out of my pocket so why I care I don't know but I can't help but feel....pity.

And i feel pride when flying around on mah pretty horse. I don't mind that there are loads of others with the same mount, not do i feel remorse for paying for it. Blizzard delivered me a service (making my game outside raids a hell of alot prettier) and i payed them for that service.

i'm thinking of buying it, looks pretty
i've not completed the achievements for the one in game and it's unlikely that i will, plus it's my money. think it's a bit insulting to say you pity someone that wanted something so went out and paid for it.
still everyone's entitled to thier own opinion
gratz dar, looks awesome i r jealous and waiting for pay day to see if i can afford one myself

I loved the youtube vid:)  The horsey whilst pretty and fast is nice I won't be getting one, I can't justify spending real life money on a mount for a game, I have bills and cat food to think about first.  However I will still love seeing them around in game that other people have purchased
