Cataclysm Hunter builds

Hey fellow huntards,
With every build i've been making a new talent tree for hunters, and still in love with Survival, thats the tree i focus on.
This is the current one i think will suffice, it has 34 points in survival (there is just to much good stuff down there) and is the most focus-efficient build i can think off. (Reducing focus cost, returning focus on crits and increasing haste (thus increasing focus regeneration))

Dar, a couple of things to consider in Cata once 85 is reached:

Once you hit 85, your crit will be HAMMERED - expect less than half of what you've got atm.  With that in mind, GO for the Throat goes from being a huge DPS boost to being middle of the road, and only when you're hitting the target yourself.  If my calculations are correct (assuming around a 30% crit), Bestial Discipline will be more capable of keeping your pet nomming, and it doesn't require you to be hitting the target at the time.  I think this is a GREAT change, since frankly, the MM tree offends me (cranky Ary is Cranky!), and I just love the idea of popping points into BM instead.  You can actually hit SPirit bond with careful spending, and your healers will love you for it.

Ary, thanks for the advise, but do mind that this thread is 2 months old and is behind about... what, 20 beta builds?

And with that, not sure how much i'm going to play my huntard for now, i'm still SV to the bone, and the state its in now just ... sucks

Yah, hun - hunter DPS is mediocre at best - and good for you for sticking SV!  At least we aren't warriors....  last night, we did Anub'arak 25 to test stuff out - Warrior with Shadowmourne = 7k DPS;  Ary with SV spec and 277s out her ears = 9k DPS.  Mage wearing 251s and 264s = 15k DPS.

Yeah, that's fair, right there.

I did notice it was a couple of months old, but tbh, I just reckon it's nice to eb able to consider NOT taking MM talents^^
