Seeds of Glory Arena Team

I found that a lot of people showed an interest in having an Arena/Rated battleground team with the guild, so I decided to make a 5v5 Arena team. Couldn't think of a name until Beorna gave me the idea simply of "Seeds of Glory". I can always change it if you feel I'm not worthy to give it that name

So, Lets see if any people would be interested. Note that we can have a maximum of 10 people in the team. It would be nice to have atleast 2 healers and a good mix of classes, but we'll just run with whatever Also, it would be nice if people could gear into some pvp gear beforehand (atleast Head, Shoulders, Chest and Legs) either the crafted blues, or from the pvp vendor.

Hopefully we will be allowed to schedule stuff on the raid planner?

I'll be up for it, first of all as druid healer i guess, as that will be the first hitting 85. My disc priest will be yours when it gets to 85, but i can't tell you when that is, as i'm not sure yet in what order i'll be lvling up my other toons

Well, we have enough for a team but it would be ideal if we could get a few more people as the chances of us all being available at the same time are pretty slim and with a few more people we could organise more sessions.

I think we'll give it 2+ weeks before we start organising stuff. Would be really nice if you could all get the pvp set from the Honor vendor. It'll give us a real boost and trust me, arenas are no fun when you keep getting one shotted because you have no resilience.

well ive just learned frost and its nice doing single and aoe dps at the same time and i can freeze em all, so thats what ill be using

None at the moment, i have 2 exams in the upcoming 3 weeks and i have a fever which my sister and her boyfriend spread during our christmas dinner. My sister just called me 'cause her boyfriend got a nasty cough and the GP has made the temporary diagnosis of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) so that might take a while and might not be pretty. Test results will take a week so it might be false alarm, lets hope its false alarm.

The more the merrier i guess It will just mean we will have to take it in turns so that everyone gets involved.

I will put Arena sessions on the raid planner. If too many people sign we could just swap around who plays in each game. That way everyone who signed will get to play.

Now lets see what times people want for arena sessions. I would like this to become a weekly thing with a set day/time. Weekends work best for me as i have school and stuff during the week. But we'll try and work with whatever times people want.

Not any experience with arena at all..but can come on my druid, cat or resto (i dont wanna take the spot from anyone else..just if your short on peeps) i only have 2 pieces of pvp gear i think.. Iv not healed much since cata launched..just a little in bg's thats all.

Right, we have 9/10 now. I'm closing it there because Dar or Silent may be using one of their priests when they reach 85 and we need to keep a spot for one of them.

Please reply saying which times you would like to do arenas at. At the moment I'm thinking Saturday or Sunday evenings at 6pm until whenever. How is that for people?

Do note that even while i'm awesome, i won't be able to play both my priest and my druid, flash If we have 10 peeps we might be able to make two teams on busy days. hell, chances are that if we put our teams in queue at the exact same time we might eventually fight eachother for a change.

On the healing side, druid healing is a hell of alot different then priest healing and alot different then the old druid healing model (RIP rejuv ) but i'm getting used to it and seriously enjoy it in BG's. I can even keep myself alive during personal attacks.

Classes i've been having problems with:
Unholy DK's, Affli Locks and (Enh) Shamans (damned purge!)

Besides these ofc any propperly playing player can be hard to deal with, but i'm pleasently suprised about how few problems i have with warriors and rogues. Activating barkskin while being cheapshotted by a rogue reduces him to a nasty pet that barely hurts.

Looking forward to arena action. Got 2 pieces from the pvp vendor already, will try to do a daily BG as much as possible.
Also, i sometimes do BG as Feral, bear. Not many ppl suspect a bear drood in BG's, but they are fun as hell and can be a real pain. Spelllock every 10 seconds, a long stun every minute, 2 charge abilities, +40% movement buff and alot of self healing.
