Sigh... ok ok
Healer dead = team dead, healer out of mana = team about to die!5v5 includes more pressure on your healer as there will be more dps doing damage then in a 2v2 or 3v3, make sure you use your selfheals and defensive cooldowns!
Peel off any harrasers that are on your healer! Your healer will be squeeling like a little girl if he gets stunned by a rogue, then charged by a warrior while being frozen by a frost mage, he is right to squeel because unless you do something about it, he is going to die a horrible death! Save him by peeling --> picking off attackers. Mage freeze the warrior, DK's pull + freeze rogues, both use your silence / interrupt to shut up that mage, use your tricks to effectivly get them off your healer but most of all, do it fast!
Healer mana is important now, if you notice you have an attacker on you, use defensive tools to reduce incoming damage!
If you see a priest in the enemy team, make sure to keep checking him, if he is destoying your healers mana you need to do something about it, fast!-- priests burning mana is evil, esp now in cat
Don't ever run out of range of your healer if you are target of damage!!! Make sure you have /range active on 40 yds and make sure your healers is in that list if you want healing!Make sure to use your CC, pref. on classes that can dispell your CC (so hex mages / druids, sleep-effects on druids and shamans)
Frost mages drop your Circle of freezing-thingie wisely so that the enemy team cannot dodge it.
Use your CC in a right order. --> So don't stun something that just has been stunned twice, it will have 0 effect. rather do something like: Frost DK AoE freeze, Frost mage stun, Frost DK silence, Frost mage Freeze etc etc
Get resillience, the less damage you take, the more chance your team has!
Get that bloody trinket (unless you are hooman) and use it!
Make use of the arena, LoS that annoying mage while chasing that godly-OP paladin healer. Lay traps in favourite routes used for fleeing (like under the bridge, around the tombe, next to the sewer platform)
Know every inch of the map and make use of it!
Most of all, you are not alone, you are in a team! You have a healer keeping you up, 3 fellow dpsers sweathing heavily while protecting the healer. Make sure you work as a team! one dps on a target is not going to impress, so make sure you call out what you are doing, so others can jump in. Use Vent and use your brains, the more you talk, the better! (unless we start talking about girlfriends, girls in general and specific tea-meeting-like-subjects, i don't want to tell you the weather in the netherlands when i'm crying under pressure as a healer)
