Due to spending most of the day if not all the day trying to get things working right after an update that rather than fix things broke nearly everything about NWN2 i've had to do a full format because for some reason Windows wasn't making any restore points for me to roll back my drivers to. so now the KB thinks it's american and keys aren't what they're supposed to be and i've just this moment finished downloading all my protection and updating it all, next is installing WoW and then a hefty download, then NWN2 and NOT patching it.

a piece of advice, don't buy NWN2 just yet unless you're wanting the Lawful Good or Chaotic Evil collecters set which aren't all that special. wait at least a month or 2 before playing it if not, don't update for gods sake.

EDIT: just realised something, i'm gonna have to download all my mods again...****!

I also experienced this problem today when installing NWN2 on (luckily for me) another PC, I had no idea what caused the problem so thanks for clearing that up for me!

heh, np, just hope people steer clear till Obsidian get off their asses and fix the game. they really screwed up and did the usual "i know we'll release it even though it got more bugs than a rotten carcass in it and just patch it in our liesure" soooo annoying. you'd think these tards would at least get rid of the bad ass bugs before releasing it. but hey, who am i to tell someone how to run a business?

anyways just 2 hours left now on the 456MB patch for WoW, then in the morning i've to go hunting for the mods i use and install them and get them all working right...think i'm gonna take a break this weekend.

Edit: i think i've finally got all my mods installed, it's just trying to configure them all and then my KB controls...just don't have the patience for it this morning. on the plus side, my computer's security is all up to date and i've found that there's a new version of Internet explorer. looks pretty cool

The new version of IE works better functionally, but I found it takes a lot longer to start up, a good 10 seconds longer to get to homepage than the previous version.  Especially with WoW running...
