Patch 2.0 Goes Live!

ok from what i can gather 2.0 goes live tomorrow  the Test realm no longer has any servers available and were shutdown 1 hour ago. however there was a new patch added to the test realm  before i found there are no servers. people that i've spoken to believe that 2.0 will be going live tomorrow, which if it does i can't wait for it  it isn't to everyones liking some druids think that they've been gimped while now i can take on Shamans, Hunters, Rogues and druids. if i get the first hit

imo 2.0 is great.


EDIT: Confirmed, i just relogged WoW normal servers and it's doing an update patch 1.12.x-2.0.1 Patch size is 35.8MB and only available on Blizzard Downloader. (which won't let you download it just yet. however i believe that after maintenance, or during we will be able to download it)

EDIT: ok Test Realms have come back online and now people are going back on what they said and are now saying it's a partial patch, whatever that means. oh well. we'll see what the patch does tomorrow i guess.

EDIT: Right i have the facts now apparently they're releasing fragments of the patch which will be in the region of 400+ mb over the next few weeks as partial patches, from what i can see this patch doesn't install just yet, damn shame though. here's a link that explains it better http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?t...88935&sid=1

To be honest, I'm slightly relieved since I'm working Telesto to Exalted with AV. Granted it doesn't take very long at all but having just got to a sniff away from Revered that means I should be able to get it done within a week maybe more. Reason I want to get it done with the current system is I'm perfectly happy to regrind AV to get whatever new toys may arrive when the new system kicks in and at least I'll have bagged the easy epics again from the current system on this char.

That and the fact I made nearly 100k honor this week, be nice to bump up a few ranks before the new system just for the hell of it while I'm burning through BG rep.

i'm not sure if the patch is being added today but there's a 653MB patch downloading atm. if this is another part of the partial patch it sure is a big one, and i'd hate to see the size of the whole thing. wow-partial-2.MPQ is the file that's being downloaded.
