Personally I haven't investigated any addins and/or mods for the game, but I'm keen to hear any recommendations...

At the moment I am using SellValue and CCminimapCo-ordinates.

http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1353
SellValue builds up a database of prices every time you visit a merchant with items in you inventory and records the price of them. This is very usefull when you are out in the field and looting items as if you know how much it sells for you can decide to keep it or throw it something better comes along and get the most out your inventory space.

http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=1306
cMinimapCoordinates puts reference co-ordinates next to the zone title above the minimap and also on the main map, quite usueful if you are looking for something that has been referenced at a specific location using co-ordinates on sites like allakhazam.

I will post links to download locations and a bit more info and correction the co-ordinates add-in as I sure I have the name slightly wrong when I get home.

Hmm - is there an addon that's any good for helping set auction prices? So far I've been putting things in the AH at the default price for 8 hours and a fair chunk just aren't selling, which is a pain - I hate selling green and above to vendors...

I think there some auction related add-ons similar to the sell value one I use. I will post links to the 2 sites my add-ons are from and you can have a look for yourself. In the meantime although its a pain you can always check an items price history on allakhazam for a rough idea I suppose.

OK, I have edited my original posts to include the URLS to the 2 addons I use, I will also drop them in here too and post links to the main sites in the help section.

SellValue - http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1353
cMinimapCoordinates - http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=1306

Doesnt look if either of them have been updated for 1.9 but I havent had any problems using them so far since the patch.

Here's Fley's handy software recomendations:

 + Titan Panel
 http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1442

Very useful thing, fully customisable. Tip: To rearrange the items in the bar, just disable all of them then enable in the order you want them to appear along the bar/bars left to right.

 + Various others
http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1830

Here's my reccomendations for people who don't want to overdo it from this pack:
 !StopTheSpam
 Atlas
 Auctioneer
EnhTooltip (Should be combined with Informant)
 Informant
 MobInfo2
 MozzFullWorldMap
Stubby (required for most to work)
Titan + All it's plugins (you can turn them on/off in game accordingly)
 Verifly

That sounds like alot, but they're all useful and none of them clutter the screen.

  Installing Instructions

 1) Extract all addon folders to your WorldOfWarcraft/Interface/Addons directory.
 2) On the character login screen, select which addons you want active.
 3) Don't bother with the 'Script Memory Usage' at the top, just leave that as 48.
 4) Titan: Right click the bar/bars to fully customise.
 5) MobInfo2: Type /mi2 to customise.

Note: All that !StopTheSpam does it prevent the addons from showing their '___ loaded' message when you login. It's not important that you need to see them, so I reccomend enabling this if you use more than 5 addons. It just gets a little annoying otherwise.

I use the following addons :

-Decursive : allows heal diseases, dispell magic and lift curses with a single key hit without having to target diseased, cursed etc guy, so you can do it without untargeting the mob you r fighting with.
-CT_MOD  : It is a full pack of addons, allowing from putting more action bars, to setting coord on map, to selfcast spells, etc. Full of thingies and very user-friendly.
-Autobuff : as the name says, It cast on yourself every benefical buff you want automatically, no need to remember to cast PW : Fortitude or AI, just as you run or walk It triggers the selfcast. You can also customize if you want to cast it when in combat/out of combat, with more than x % of mana, with less than x % HP, etc.Very very useful

Big.

the addons im using are:

1) wowecon: this gives you information on all items of their vendor price, average price on auction and what it may disenchant into, plus some more features, i've found this extremely useful. http://www.wowecon.com/

2) Cosmos: this provides a wide variety of addons, which you can choose the ones you want to use, i'm only using half, but again extremely useful. it is also linked to http://www.thottbot.com/, which gives you details on nearly everything in wow, plus coordinates that cosmos applies to the map. http://www.cosmosui.org/

3) autobuff: does exactly what its says on the tin, very easy to use, and don't no how i've survived without it. http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=1475

http://ui.worldofwar.net/ is a very good site for addons

hope this helps

You may be in for a shock with the 1.10 patch. i was playing on the test realm yesterday and Blizzard have blocked a lot of the Macros you get an error message and the game then offers to disable the add in.

See this Forum post in particular

Lozareth is working on fixing it for 1.10. Apparently it's because of the AutoBuff-like mods, 1.10 does not allow any mods that call movement functions, like mods that cast things when you press a movement key. DAB could be configured to do this, but since it's no longer allowed, it's being recoded to work.
