5. Mounts

5.1Q What do I need for the flying mount?

5.1A The normal flying mount requires riding skill 225 and costs 90G. Riding skill 225 costs 720G and requires you to have riding skill 150.


5.2Q What do I need for the epic flying mount?

5.2A The epic flying mount requires riding skill 300 and costs 180G. Riding skill 300 costs 5000G and requires you to have riding skill 225.


5.3Q Where can I buy the flying mount (skill)?

5.3A You can but them in “Wildhammer Stronghold” (Alliance) and “Shadowmoon Village” (Horde). Both can be found in “Shadowmoon Valley”.


5.4Q What do Druids need for flight form?

5.4A Druids will get the flying mount skill by buying it from the trainer. They will get it at L68. They require riding skill 150 (epic mount) before they can buy this skill. After that, they will get riding skill 225 (normal flying mount).


5.5Q Can I fly my flying mount in Azeroth? How about running on the ground?

5.5A No you can't fly in Azeroth with the flying mount. Nor can you run with it.
 

i think it would be cool for you to still use the flying mounts in Azeroth, not to fly however but to just hover above the ground with a priests levitate kinda ability letting players fly over water but not in a vertical way. would at least give the mounts much more value to say their riding skill cost.

I still need to hit 150 riding with Fortunafish. Thankfully I shouldn't be too far off in terms of cash for that, and I reckon I can save enough for the next level by the time I can train in it.

yeah, the grind to 70 should take a while, and when it comes to higher level items even the greys should sell for a sum of gold each so it really isn't as bad as it looks :gulp:

Its gonna be fun - especially to level - boy do I miss that (its only been 3weeks!!!) how you guys do it I just dont know? I know the improvement of eqipment is an on going element and rep, but thats not as much fun progressing to a new level and then discovering new areas. So roll on TBC - I need you!!

Yep, I also need my epic mount, just need run to Stratholme to collect 5 waters and then I am done; I shall post a request on the roster in the new year when most people should be back on line and to a normal routine again!!
